European Painter Ian Gordon,  is originally from London, U.K. Currently he resides on the west coast of Ireland where he has lived for 30 years.   Ian Gordon is known for his robust and expressive Oil Paintings of the natural landscape of Co. Donegal. He paints with palette knife and brush on canvas outside, on location, with a high energy technique working start to finish in a matter of hours. The changeable nature of the Irish weather means that, to return the next day hoping to continue in the same light is not an option.
